The Big E starts tomorrow and leads right into the start of Holiday Season and is where I see a lot of people get a large case of the Fuckits.
Fuckit, it’s almost Halloween. Fuckit, it’s almost Thanksgiving. Fuckit, it’s almost Christmas. Fuckit, it’s New Year’s. Fuckit, I’ll dial it in and start that diet after the New Year.
Sound familiar? Are you still on that same New Year’s diet you started last year?
One day or even a week of letting loose will not unravel or erase a year of consistency.
Know what will? 4 months straight of the Fuckits.
Going to the Big E this year?
Plan ahead. Don’t deprive yourself and try and diet your way through it, but also be mindful of your hunger and full signals. Maybe don’t eat until you have a food baby belly and take some favorites home instead.
Favorite foods at nostalgic times are rooted in our childhood and it’s plain silly stupid to say don’t eat them and just have something healthier. That’s a good path to the binge/restrict cycle. The whole point of something like the Big E is to have that éclair you waited for all year or get your bag of mini donuts and feel like a kid again. The key is not to eat your way through the fair or let the rest of your week or day go to complete shit.
When you restrict yourself on end, the Fuckits will appear. Being balanced year-round and building consistent food habits will avoid this pitfall.
If you are on the perpetual Fuckit then diet cycle, do yourself a favor and jump off that Ferris wheel. It’s not working for you.

Hahaha! Fuckit, pickle pizza! 😋
